Summer Time

So we are definitely loving the summer time. Swimming, playing outside, long nights, great weather, bbqing and s'mores.
We had a good 4th of July, a small hurricane like storm came through town and wiped out power and trees and lots of firework stands. but it all cleared before the big firework show.
First 4th of July
This is how Kallie "watched" the fireworks
We celebrated our good friend Megan's big 30 birthday in July. I can remember being a kid and my parents having over the hill parties for their friends, so it seems so strange to be having them for my friends now. And it reminds me that my 30th is quickly approaching.

We started Kallie in dance class in July, it is so precious to watch little girls dance. One girl in her class last week was new and about half way through the class asked when they were gonna start dancing. It was so cute.

Well as July is coming to an end, we are excited for the big changes ahead. Ricky is heading to D.C. for a few months to work for the Air Nation Guard. Me and the girls are going to go visit while he is there and hope to make it back to Rhode Island to see the family as well. Although I am a bit nervous flying with 2 kids by myself with all our luggage and car seats and stroller and pack n play, I think I am going to look  like a crazy women.

Here are some recent pic of the girls:

Kallie is 3!

My little girl is 3! Kallie had her birthday party yesterday and it was so much fun. We did a Minnie Mouse theme, with lots of pink!

Kallie loves to be around people so she was in heaven with the 30 guests in our house. The weather was perfect the day of her party so we set up the slip in slide, kids pool and had pink water balloons.

Kallie didn't exactly slide, it was more of a cat walk for her
Jadon Sliding

Chad was a great slider

Even Hannah got the hang of it

We even had one adult do the slip n slide (Megan) I wish I would have caught it on camera cause it was a great slide, she got  more wet than she thought she would. The men seemed to enjoy the water balloons more than the kids, I think I got hit twice by my brother. I still have more water balloons so revenge is coming....

Opening Presents..She got squinkies, pop up pals, clothes, shoes, a doll house, DVD, live caterpillars, Thomas the train, blueberry girl, craft stuff, coloring books, water toys and pet shop toys.

Then it was cupcake time!

The cupcakes tasted great, but the frosting just melted off it was so hot out.

Some of your guest that came:
Nichole and Karley
Cousin Randi
Donna and Hailey

Little Sister Natalee

Megan and Aunt Jennifer
Richard and Ellianna

Thanks to everyone that came! And a special thanks to my Mom, Randi and Megan for helping me.

May Update

Its already the middle of May and I'm not sure how we got here so fast. I am super excited for summer time. We have already been enjoying the beautiful weather, since the wind finally stopped blowing (knock on wood).   We had a good Easter with my family at our Cabin, it was a little cold, but we still had fun hunting eggs.

I enjoyed my first Mothers Day with 2 kids this year. We went out to eat with our family and then me and the girls went to San Diego to see some friends and go to the zoo. The weather in San Diego is so nice!!! . We got to see a baby Hippo and his mommy swimming. Also the giraffe family had a baby giraffe too. The zoo was a blast, Kallie loved it. And while we were in San Diego Natalee got her first TOOTH! I'm sure your not as excited about that as I was :-) I cant seem to capture that on film yet.

Ricky has been busy with work, in fact he is gone right now for 4 days and we miss him lots! We celebrated his 29th birthday in April and he got another guitar! I think he is up to 5 now or maybe its 6, I lose count. But he says they all sound different.....Whatever they all sounds the same to me.

Kallie is getting excited about our upcoming trip to see Memere and Pepere in Rhode Island. We are also going to go to Disney Land for her birthday and she can wait to see Mickey at his home. Right now she thinks he lives in at the Holiday Inn, everytime we see one she screams "Mickey's House". I don't know where she got this. Some of her new favorite things this month: Squishies, Bandaids and playing in the sprinklers.
Squishies

Ouch
All better
Natalee is 6 months now! She is starting to learn to sit up and really enjoys her toys now. She is starting to talk but no one can understand her. We started giving her rice cereal and so far she loves it. She is such a good baby except when she wakes Mommy up at 3:12am daily.

That is all for now, my left arm is numb from holding a sleeping baby and I'm really annoyed from typing with one hand. Thanks for keeping up with us.

Its been awhile

Ok so its been a while since my last post, but we have been super busy with the move and just got internet today!!

So we moved, yup that's right we made the trip down the hill back to good ol' Rosamond. Ricky is really loving his new commute. Its nice having our cousins so close by too.

Well Kallie is loving her new bedroom its bigger so she has more room to play and make a mess.  We have also overcome our "spider freak out" phase. Praise the Lord! Incase you missed seeing an episode of this, everything was a spider, dirt, all bugs, rain drops, crumbs or nothing at all could be a spider. Then Kallie would have a spider freak out moment which included screaming and crying and needing mommy or daddy stat! We even came up with a spider freak out dance.

 Kallie on St. Patricks Day

Natalee didn't really care about her new room, but she is officially rolling over now! YAY
and I think she is getting teeth, I'll let you know if I am right in a few weeks. She has also learned how happy it makes Daddy & Mommy when she naps, so she started taking 3 naps a day and I dont even have to hold her the whole time, she naps in her crib all by herself.  She LOVES her sister, watching her be silly she just cracks up laughing.

We got to go to Monterey last weekend for a pre- deployment vacation.
It was really nice to get away just the four of us. We went to the aquarium and Kallie loved it especially the Jellyfish. We had the best clam chowder on the pier. And even got to go swimming.

The start of Us

I've wanted to start this blog for some time now, but I am finally getting around to it. I think I'll give a little history on the four of us first.

Ricky-is the man of the house, and by man I mean only man. He works for the DoD on bomber planes. If you ask Kallie she can name all 3, and assumes any plane flying in the sky is a bomber. He also is a bio medical tech in the Air National Guard. And attending University of Phoenix. He loves to playing guitar and music.

Kallie is our 2 1/2 year old. She is full of spirit and giggles! She has wild hair, and makes lots of funny faces. We love her so much!

Natalee is the newest member arriving 4 months ago. She has learned to smile, laugh and play with toys. And occasionally roll over.

And then there is me, I am slowing approaching the big 30, and this has me a little frightened. I am a SAHM (stay at home mom) and I love being with my girls everyday. They definitely keep me busy. But I cant complain I have been married for 8 years and have 2 beautiful girls and a God that shows me mercy and grace everyday.
Oh and I am a Packer Fan too!
